Roles and Responsibilities of Key Positions
1. International Program Director: The International Program Director oversees all global programs, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with ICF's mission across various regions. This role involves developing international strategies, managing partnerships, and ensuring that resources are efficiently used to achieve program goals.
2. Chairperson: The Chairperson leads the Board of Directors and is responsible for facilitating board meetings, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring that the board fulfills its governance responsibilities. They represent the organization publicly and work closely with the executive team to provide guidance and support.
3. Secretary: The Secretary manages the organization’s records, including meeting minutes, legal documents, and correspondence. They ensure effective communication within the board and between the board and stakeholders, as well as maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for the financial oversight of the organization, managing budgets, financial reporting, and ensuring proper use of funds. They present financial reports to the board, ensure transparency in financial operations, and oversee audits.
5. Chief Project Coordinator: The Chief Project Coordinator manages and oversees all projects undertaken by the organization, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget. They coordinate with the project coordinators in different regions and ensure that all projects align with the strategic goals of ICF.
6. Project Coordinators (City and Province): Project Coordinators at the city and provincial levels are responsible for the on-the-ground implementation of ICF's programs. They manage local teams, liaise with community leaders, and ensure that projects meet local needs. Their role is critical in adapting and executing programs that reflect the specific context of each region.
